The applications are available online starting from 1st February 2023. Students can visit the official website to know the application procedure.

And submit the duly filled applications on or 30th April 2023. So, before the Scholarship forms are disabled, we kindly inform every student to apply online. Only candidates residing in India are eligible to apply for a commonwealth scholarship.

It offers prestigious scholarships for international students to improve their studies in New Zealand. Every year, the government of New Zealand provides scholarships for the students studying various programs like masters and PhD in New Zealand.

New Zealand scholarship eligibility test

Coming to eligibility, students who have an age of 18 years, should have to score 65% of marks in bachelors or master’s degree. Indian resident students who are abroad for studying or training for more than 2 years are also eligible to apply for New Zealand Commonwealth Scholarship 2023.

And candidates must agree to return to India after the completion of 2 years of their studies for their country’s development. Only commonwealth countries students are allowed to apply for this scholarship program.

Candidates’ Commonwealth Scholarship 2023 is based on their merit list. For outstanding and excellent scored students, the government offers a completed tuition fee of university and living expenses will be paid every fortnight. It also includes insurance, airfare and other support.

Applied students will call to attend for interviews to shortlist some applicants. Shortlisted candidates in interviews will send them to New Zealand government for the final section procedure. All the details of shortlisted students will be uploaded on the ministry of human resources development website.
