Let us tell you that from December 23, a high-level meeting will be held regarding the free laptop scheme, out of which the students who get admission in engineering and medical through the entrance exam will be given benefits under the free laptop scheme.
In this free laptop scheme, the SC and ST list will be prepared by the Welfare Department, the process of selection of the characters will also be done in the high level meeting to be held on 23 December 2024.
More than 1800 students of Bihar will get benefit

There are total 9000 seats in engineering college out of which 16% is reserved for SC community, thus total 1440 seats are reserved for ST
Similarly, there are about 1400 seats in medical colleges in the state, out of which about 224 seats are reserved for SC and 14 seats are reserved for ST.
